At the Nuclear Medicine Department of the Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Sao Joao, the Neurocloud SISCOM clinical decision support tool is used to assist physicians in cases of refractory epilepsy, specifically in the interpretation of brain images.Based on artificial intelligence, this technique is based on the subtraction of brain perfusion images taken during and between seizures, performing an automatic co-registration with magnetic resonance imaging.
